Florida Biologix® is an operating unit of the Center of Excellence for Regenerative Health Biotechnology (CERHB). The CERHB was established in 2003 with start-up funds that were appropriated by the State of Florida Legislature through Governor Jeb Bush's Center of Excellence Initiative. Additional financial support comes from the University of Florida and the U.S. Department of Commerce Economic Development Agency. Our mission is to facilitate translational research and product development, leading to commercialization of biopharmaceutical technologies that will provide treatments and cures for human diseases. Our success will be defined not only by our contribution to human health, but also by the creation of new companies and high-wage jobs for Florida.
